This is Belgian chain territory, yes — worth knowing upfront — but in a quarter where proper sit-down seafood is genuinely scarce, that corporate pedigree actually works in its favor.

The mussels are the reason to come. Multiple reviews single out the moules marinières specifically — well-cooked, generously portioned, with a broth that earns its bread for dipping. The salmon en cocotte exists on the menu, but the kitchen's consistency there is less reliable: a few guests found their dish diverging from the photo in ways that weren't pleasant surprises. If you're going off-script from the mussels, confirm your order twice.

The terrace on the canal is the spot's real differentiator from anything else in walking distance. For a group dinner or a slow summer apéro, that setting does the heavy lifting. Book ahead for evenings — the room fills up, and the staff, while genuinely warm and good with non-French speakers, are working hard enough that a walk-in at peak hour is a gamble. Fries can arrive lukewarm when the kitchen is stretched; it's not a dealbreaker but it's worth noting.
