Most places near Quartier Gare will pour you a draft from whatever tap they've got. Le Petit Tigre actually makes the stuff. It's a working microbrewery inside what feels like a repurposed industrial hall — high ceilings, an airy layout that somehow still manages to feel alive and full even on a quiet Tuesday, and a vibe that sits somewhere between student canteen and serious beer venue. That tension is part of the appeal.

The tarte flambée is not an afterthought. Locals here will tell you it's among the best in town, and at 14€ for a flammekueche plus a house beer during happy hour, the math is very hard to argue with. The dough is thin, the toppings are right, and it arrives fast — which matters when the room is packed and you're on your second bière maison.

Fair warning: this place gets loud. The scale that makes it work for a group dinner of eight is the same scale that means you'll be leaning in to hear each other on a Friday night. Come early in the week if conversation is the point; come on the weekend if you want the full, slightly chaotic Strasbourg experience.

For the neighborhood, this is a genuine staple — not because there's nothing else around, but because it consistently delivers on two things that matter: decent beer you can't get elsewhere, and a tarte flambée that doesn't embarrass itself.
