That's not common, and it's the clearest reason to choose this address over a safer bet closer to the tourist trail.

The place covers a lot of ground — French bistro, pizza, bar, breakfast through dinner — and manages not to feel scattered about it. Lunch is where it really clicks: quick, filling, affordable for Strasbourg, with service that moves without rushing you. Evenings are more relaxed, and more than one regular has noted the interior improves considerably once the sun goes down. Call it atmosphere through necessity; it works.

The outdoor seating is genuinely good here, positioned on rue Kirstein near the parks along the Ill — a natural endpoint for an afternoon walk that becomes an impromptu apéro, then dinner. Groups, families, date nights on a budget: the room handles all of it without making anyone feel out of place.
