I booked a room for the weekend a week before Valentine's Day to surprise my sweetheart. The day before our arrival, the hotel director personally called me to inform me that something had gone wrong with my reservation. I had booked through Booking.com, as they still had a room available. The problem was that they had no rooms available at the hotel. He explained the situation and assured me that he would do everything possible to get us a room for Valentine's weekend. We ended up with a lovely room with a whirlpool at a partner hotel. It's a shame we couldn't enjoy the room at Madame C, but the wonderful service we received made it impossible not to give 10 stars if I could. The hotel director even came by the hotel himself to apologize and brought a small gift. That's truly excellent service with passion. Thanks also to the fantastic service team at Madame C; we felt very comfortable and will definitely be back. The hotel itself only has 12 rooms, which makes it very exclusive, and when you see the rooms, you understand why – truly top-notch! The food was fantastic in terms of quality; unfortunately, the portions were a bit small, but that adds to the exclusivity. The cocktails are first-class, and we opted for the cocktail pairing with our meal so we could try as many as possible. Mind you, it was the Valentine's Day menu, not à la carte. It was an unforgettable moment for both of us, despite the initial nervousness. Many thanks again to the entire team.
