The Margherita isn't an afterthought — it's the benchmark, and it holds up. That consistency over 1,800-plus reviews doesn't happen by accident.

The daily pizza is the move for regulars: it changes, it's reliably good, and it's the kind of thing that makes a Tuesday lunch feel like a decent decision. The meatballs are generous to a fault — ask for extra tomato sauce and Parmesan when you order, because the ratio leans dry at the default. The Insalate Caprese is a solid opener if you're pacing yourself through a longer meal.

The terrace on the place d'Austerlitz is the main event in spring and summer. Strasbourg gets enough sun to make outdoor dining feel earned, and Mito's position on the square means you're watching the whole neighbourhood pass by with a glass of something cold.
