Hamburger Hut

Great vibe, friendly staff, and delicious burgers. The burger falls somewhere between In n Out and a great diner burger. The house dipping sauce was a pleasant surprise, tangy and complex.

Hamburger Hut is a classic spot done right. The burgers are fresh, juicy, and cooked perfectly, with generous portions and great flavor. Service was friendly and efficient, and the staff made the experience easy and welcoming. The atmosphere is laid back and nostalgic, exactly what you want from a local burger joint. Great value, quality food, and consistently good service. Definitely worth coming back.

The service was terrible. We ordered for a large group and it took over 1 hour. While we waited we realized one person from our group did not order their food. We went to the front to order one more burger to add to the order and they refused to try and help. They would not add the one additional burger to our current order. We had to order a separate order for this one extra burger. After waiting 1 hour Everyone else got their food except for the one guest which "ordered after" everyone else. we waited an additional 45 minutes for her food to be come but it wasn't ready. After waiting long enough, everyone had enough so we just left. We asked for a refund for the one burger after having spent over 400 dollars on all of the other food but were met with strong resistance. We tried to discuss our situation with the manager, but she was no help. We spent over 400 dollars that night and we wanted a refund for a burger that was 15 dollars. It wasn't even about the 15 dollars at that point. We come to this place frequently, approximately 3-4 times a month. We will no longer come back to this place and will tell all of our friends not to go either. There are plenty of burger places in north county with food just as good or better BUT with much better service and accommodation.
