We recently dine here with my wife and got beef carpaccio, mushroom pasta and wild boar pasta. Everything was insanely delicious! Highly recommend to go try yourself. Just don’t forget to bring your own booze.
We’re looking forward to go there again and try mushroom risotto!
The food is delicious but the service is very slow which is why I had to take off a couple of stars. I understand it's a family run business but it often felt like we were forgotten about. It took a long time before even taking our order. We had to ask for wine glasses multiple times, and eventually were given plastic cups because they were supposedly out of wine glasses. Although BYOB is a plus. But as stated earlier, the food was very good. The pizza was fresh and hot. yhe mussels were good. The tiramisu was amazing. They just need to hire more staff because they are apparently busier than they can manage.
Wonderful, friendly, and truly authentic Italian spot! We were visiting from out of town and were so warmly welcomed. The waitress/owner went out of her way to seat us without a reservation and was incredibly kind.
Delicious food, family-run feel, and multiple high chairs — one of the few places we would have felt comfortable bringing our twin toddlers. We wished we had found it sooner so we could go back again. Highly recommend!
As someone who grew up in an Italian family on the east coast - this is by far the best Italian food I have had in San Diego. We ordered three pastas and one pizza and every single thing was beyond good. The food is authentic and delicious. The owners are from Italy and are so sweet. I am so glad I finally found such a great Italian spot. I can’t wait to come back!
A qwant little place with authentic Italian cuisine, friendly staff, and great food. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, a great place for an intimate dinner for two or a friendly gathering of friends and family.
Don't forget to bring your favorite bottle of wine.
