This is actually my second time coming to P.F. Chang’s in Mission Valley within a week. The first time being for the Lunar New Year of which is the reason I came tonight to take advantage of a promotion for a free appetizer. But wow, what an incredible experience! This restaurant is truly a gem and easily deserves all five stars. From the moment I walked in, the modern decor and lovely ambiance set the perfect tone for a fantastic meal.
The food was absolutely outstanding with every dish having a burst of fresh flavors and perfectly prepared. As for the drinks? They were just as impressive, crafted with care and a delight to sip on. What really elevated the visit this evening was my server Bree. She is so polite, attentive, and genuinely helpful. She went above and beyond with not only providing take out supplies for leftovers but, she neatly placed the leftovers into separate boxes then bagged them for me.
It's rare to find such a perfect combination of delicious food, beautiful surroundings, and exceptional service. I can't wait to go back!
Atmosphere: This location does not require diners to view the underpinnings of over sized horses! The interior decor is also not overstated and tables have sufficient spacing for privacy of conversation. SERVICE: Staff has a good working knowledge of menu items - including the bar offerings. FOOD: The chefs present visually appealing and properly seasoned dishes. Also, the "perks rewards" are good incentives.
A fine dine place in San Diego. They have good choices of Asian cusines, and a wide selection of wine and good beers.
It was a Friday, so I expect a bit slow service and cold food is not what I expected.
Food tast, presentation and quality was good and unlimited non-alcoholic beverages top up seems a good deal for non-alcoholics!
I had a dessert which was nice with chocolate and peanut butter. However, it was the one of the sweetest thing I ever tested. May be they can consider to reduces sugar and keep more flavor.
overall, a good place to visit once.
P.F. Chang’s has always been a very special place for my family and I to enjoy for special occasions. This time my wife and I visited to celebrate an anniversary + Valentine’s Day.
We were able to walk in the day after Valentine’s Day and only wait for 10 minutes for a table. We had Jake as our server. He was super attentive to our table despite being super busy. I was very impressed with how he balanced all of his tables, kept his patience, and delivered overall great service.
The food was impressive. I’m known to always go for a classic Kung Pao or Orange Chicken dish, but this time I wanted to try something new and see how they do in other Asian delicacies. The Singapore Street Noodles were very authentic to what I’ve tried oversees with a nice elevated touch.
What more can I say? I’m impressed. There’s a reason you pay what you do and P.F. Chang’s did not disappoint to help us celebrate a special day.
The lunch special at $15 for a starter and a main are a great deal. Service is impeccable. We ate at the bar today and our (female) server whose name we didn’t catch was on top of everything. Also the chili sauce that I asked for on the side was DIVINE! I had the hot and sour soup…which had a ton of protein (beef, chicken, tofu, I think) and was tasty. Brown rice + PF Changs spicy chicken was also quite good. My iced tea was frequently refreshed without asking…THIS is the service we look for. Kudos!
