I love this place. Always get the chile relleno burrito and rolled tacos. They have a massive selection salsa bar and I load up my food in all the yummy salsa. A San Diego staple. I’m a fan and it hits the spot for fast affordable Mexican.
Went here for dinner after a long day and it turned out to be a pretty solid choice. The place had a relaxed vibe, not too loud, and the staff was friendly without hovering too much. I ordered tacos and a side of rice and beans. The tacos were fresh and filling, nothing fancy but done right. Salsa had a nice kick, though I wish it was a little warmer when it came out.
Absolutely delicious and quick!
I did drive thru and I was also very thankful that the host gave me tons of salsas. They have three types of salsas. The medium colored one is my favorite. I would definitely come back to eat here again. The quesadilla was delicious, too, and had mushrooms in it with adobada meat.
The food here was disgusting and the service wasn't much better. I got the potato tacos and they were dripping in oil the mashed potatoes themselves were flavorless except for the pounds of cheese mixed in as a vegan they were awful I ordered it with no cheese on top but next time I will be cautious to ask if there is any mixed in. My fiance ordered the beef enchiladas and they were also disgusting mostly filled with tomatoes peppers and onions and barely any meat at all. Highly disappointed. If you are in San Diego please do not waste your time eating here only to be disappointed. Also if you get fries bring some salt with you they had no seasoning at all. On the bright side the guacamole was a large serving and was some of the best I've had.
