The food is competent resort fare — not extraordinary, as reviews readily admit, but solid enough that the hummus gets called out and the burger earns repeat visits. The real draw is the setting: couch booths big enough for six, bar seats overlooking the Pacific, that tropical-casual vibe the Del does better than anywhere else on the island.

This is where you bring out-of-towners who want the Coronado experience without the white-tablecloth commitment, or where you grab a passionfruit margarita before an evening wedding. The fish gets cooked right — crispy fries, well-seared wahoo — which matters more than it should at a spot where the view could excuse laziness. Dinner outside can turn cold once the sun drops, but that's the cost of eating on a deck fifty feet from the water.
