Went to the beach with some friends and looked up a place to get burritos and this amazing gem popped up. Gaby was super nice and took our orders. I got the breakfast egg & bacon burrito. All of our burritos came out in 5 minutes and boy were they fresh and hot!!! Very delicious as well. Would highly recommend going and supporting this lovely place. Ice Out.
Taqueria Los Ruiz absolutely nailed it. I grabbed a breakfast burrito here at their Cass Street spot, and to be blunt—it's one of the best I've had in the area. No nonsense, just real flavor and quality. The tortilla was warm and fresh, the eggs were cooked right, the meat had real seasoning, and they didn't skimp on anything. Portions are solid too. Service was fast, friendly, and straightforward. If you're in San Diego and take breakfast burritos seriously, this place deserves a stop. Five stars, no question.
Was a little hesitant to have breakfast from here because we weren’t feeling like having Mexican food. But it was sooooo yummy. We ordered the shrimp quesadilla and breakfast burrito with a side of large fries. The portions are ginormous so we had to pack half of it so keep that in mind. Everything tasted good. The green salsa was my favourite. The place is clean and the people are friendly too. Loved it.
BEST Mexican food I’ve ever had in my life. It was so good that we went here for dinner twice on a six day trip. The al pastor and the carnitas meat plates were to die for. I also had the limonada agua fresca, also amazing. One of the highlights of this restaurant is the large 32oz side of refried beans. Please see the menu and the photos for how large this is. As a huge refried bean enthusiast this really excited me so I had to purchase it obviously. This will for sure be my go to Mexican restaurant in San Diego if I ever return for an extended stretch of time. I can only hope that it will always be here!
We ordered a few breakfast burritos which turned out to be very good. As mostly people who live in SoCal and have had many types of burritos, these deserved 5 stars as the ingredients we flavorful and the tortillas were cooked with a great char. The person behind the counter was a little rude, but they were also getting busy and I had a list of questions (I get it, I've worked in the service industry too). Seating mainly outside but decent amount of four and two tops. It was warm inside the place as they also had the door propped open but overall, it's all about the food.
Based off my experience, I would recommend it.
