I stopped by The Rose Wine Bar and it turned out to be a really charming neighborhood wine bar. The atmosphere is cozy and stylish, with warm lighting, wooden details, and shelves filled with bottles that make the place feel relaxed and intimate—almost like a living room for wine lovers.
The wine selection is excellent, featuring many small-production wines from different regions around the world, with plenty available by the glass. I also enjoyed some small plates to go with the wine, and everything felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared.
Overall, it’s a great spot for a casual date night or a relaxed evening with friends. If you enjoy discovering unique wines in a cozy setting, The Rose is definitely worth a visit in San Diego.
The rose is a very cute spot. Cons: the menu is limited, not too many options. Parking, challenging to find a spot.
Pros: the service, very friendly servers. The food is really good!
We recently came to celebrate our anniversary and this place just gets better! The papas fritas are INCREDIBLE and I love the tuna tartare. We also had really delicious drinks - I’m less of a wine person but had a watermelon tequila cocktail that was so refreshing. The staff is amazing as well, super attentive and accommodating and nice! Topped off dinner with an olive oil cake that I’m still dreaming about :)
I live in South Park and this place is by far one of my favorites. The staff is always welcoming and accommodating. Their happy hour oysters are worth the price and the horseradish is the best I’ve ever had! I’ve only had a wonderful time.
I hit this place up for their happy hour. Wow - my favorite gin, beautiful European wines, wonderful snacks and super cozy atmosphere. Plus, a beautiful outdoor seating area for our perfect California weather
