Great Greek and Mediterranean food. Fresh slices of baguette bread with a choice of oil and vinegar dipping sauce or fresh butter to add on top. I had the mykonos on pita bread. Came with fresh Caesar salad and shaved cheese pieces. Ice tea toilet! Very delicious 😋
Diverse menu with many tasty entrees. Service was excellent and all of the food our party had impressed each person. Easy free parking in adjacent lot. Seafood linguine and fried calamari appetizer are both winners.
Had a mid afternoon lunch. Sat on the beautiful patio with great weather. Our server Rosendo did a great job. Everything on time, drinks refilled and kept up with our every need. My bolognese was excellent, someone ordered a sandwich, which was excellent. My wife said her meal was not as good as in previous visits. She had the carbonara. We shared a calamari appetizer that was cold and chewy. We expected it hot and crispy as in previous visits. All in all, it was a good lunch.
The restaurant is very nice and large. The staff very attentive, courteous and took the time to explain different dishes and gave us recommendations. The food was delicious, everything we ate was well prepared, presented and full of flavor. They have an extensive wine list, full bar and very good beer selection. Listening to employees interact with patrons, it's very obvious that they care about the place and customers dinning experience. Don't be like us that it took us about a year to finally come to Yanni's, just go, you will be glad you did.
Very good food on a very nice dog friendly patio. The patio was very nice and fully covered, looked like the type of patio you could use in the rain. It had a soft breeze blowing through it so it didn't feel stuffy, but it also wasn't a stiff breeze that would make it too cold.
They had a water bowl for our dogs, which was nice. The food came out very quickly. The service was very friendly and attentive. I appreciated that they bring bread and olive oil for the table, it seems more and more of a rarity to get free bread.
All of the food we had was excellent. The seafood risotto was minimal spice, just enough to remind you it said spicy on the menu. I'm not a fan of spicy food but I was able to more than handle this risotto.
Be sure to bring lactaid if you're lactose intolerant, because a lot of their sauces were very creamy. All the food tasted heavenly.
The desserts were definitely made there, or at least not your run of the mill straight from the freezer desserts. We quite enjoyed the cheesecake. The port wine reduction was hard to get off the plate and onto our forks, but it was worth the effort. That would be my one area for improvement: they should drizzle the reduction directly into the cheesecake for easier access.
All in all, I am sure we will be back here. The prices were definitely a little higher than many restaurants in the area, it the quality was well worth it. This would be a fantastic place to take the in-laws, or a first date, if you wanted to really impress them while still keeping the vibe fairly casual.
