1* for food. Had dinner at the restaurant last night. Ordered beef steak. It was awful. The meat was old impossible to chew. Just a horrible quality. I ended up eating mostly mashed potatoes and asparagus and left all the beef on the plate. Whoever cooked it should be fired. I had a stomach ache all night after trying some of that overcooked hard beef. 3* for service. The waiter was attentive and seemed nice but was forgetting to bring things. I asked for water at the very beginning of the dinner. The waiter even asked what kind of water I want and never returned with it. By the end of the dinner I received the bill which has 7 euros charge for water. If I didn't look at the itemized list I could've paid for something that was never brought to me. I alerted the waiter and it was removed from the bill. 5* for the atmosphere: the restaurant is nicely decorated for Christmas. Overall I wouldn't recommend this place as the food is horrible

I went to this restaurant with my family. The atmosphere was warm, and the service was friendly and fast. The menu had few dishes but was varied. The vegetarian risotto was inedible, so overcooked that it resembled porridge. The desserts were excellent. I would have appreciated it if the waitress had asked why the rice had not been eaten and if it had been removed from the bill.

We visited this restaurant to celebrate a joint birthday with my sister, but unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. From the moment we walked in, the staff seemed to look down on us, as if they felt superior. We had brought a birthday cake from another place, and instead of kindly explaining their policy, they told us in a very rude and disrespectful way that we couldn’t bring it in. A little understanding or polite communication would have made a huge difference. One of the waiters a young man was especially unwelcoming and had a bad attitude, as if he was annoyed by our presence. I’ve worked as a waitress before, so I know how important behavior and customer care are in hospitality, and I really think the staff here should be reconsidered or trained better. The food was honestly terrible. I ordered the swordfish, which came with what looked like a sauce but turned out to be apple syrup. It made no sense and completely ruined the dish. Out of the five of us: • One person ordered pork it was very badly prepared , • Another had lamb the sauce was awful and didn’t complement the meat at all. The menu options overall were limited and uninspired. I definitely do not recommend this restaurant. However, I do want to highlight the bar next to the restaurant it was the complete opposite experience. The staff there were amazing: polite, friendly, and welcoming. The atmosphere was perfect, and we had a great time. I give the bar 5 out of 5 stars for service, ambiance, and overall experience. They truly made our evening better. We dined at L’archipel Restaurant on Christmas Eve 2025 with two other couples. Unfortunately, the experience fell far below expectations due to poor organization and service. Upon arrival, we were told our reservation was for four rather than six guests. After discussion, the manager, Thomas, reluctantly added two chairs to our table, requiring the table to be moved to a drafty area at the edge of the restaurant, leaving one guest seated in an unsuitable space. The restaurant was clearly understaffed. Our waiter was overwhelmed, and each course of the six-course meal arrived extremely late, with long gaps between courses. One person in our party became so frustrated by the delays that she left before the meal concluded. We arrived at 7:00 PM and did not leave until almost midnight, while tables seated later than us finished and departed much earlier. Payment was also inefficient. Although staff agreed to split the bill equally among three rooms, the process took over 30 minutes. It was evident that the restaurant was not prepared to handle a full house on such an important evening. Christmas Eve dinner should be a special experience; instead, we left disappointed and dissatisfied.
